Contestant Bio: This will be read during your child's walk on stage.
The Caladium Festival Pageant has two age categories. Tiny Miss is open to 5 to 7 year-old young ladies who reside in Lake Placid. The Little Miss category is for young ladies from 8 to 10 years old who reside in Lake Placid. The pageant will start promptly at 3 PM. All Contestants must check into the registration picnic table behind the stage by 2:45 pm to receive placement and contestant numbers, or they will not be permitted to enter the competition.
Contestants must wear festive dresses showcasing the Caladium Colors or Caladiums. Dresses only! NO BATHING SUITS. NO SHOWING MIDRIFT. NO BEAUTY PAGEANT DRESSES. (See photo examples in downloadable rules above)

Pageant Run-through - 1 hour practice, Wednesday, July 25th. 5-6 pm Stuart Park Pavilion.

There will be one Winner and one most festive outfit award for each Pageant.
In consideration of mutual benefits, I have read and agree to abide by the rules established by the pageant festival committee. Further, I release The Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and the Town of Lake Placid and all their employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers from any liability, accident, injury, damage, or claim to arise out of or relating to my participation in the Caladium Festival pageant. Further, I release The Greater Lake Placid Chamber of Commerce, Inc. and the Town of Lake Placid, and all their employees, agents, representatives, and volunteers from responsibility for the security, protection, control, or supervision of any personal property, equipment, booths, or exhibits brought to the festival area or left there overnight. This is a non-contracted pageant. The winners will not be representing Lake Placid. They will only be representing the Caladium Festival.
