How Can We Help?

  • Where should I park?
Street parking is available within a short walking distance to the event. There is also a designated paid parking area provided by the Highlands County Sheriff’s office, proceeds benefit the Explorer’s Post 2247 located at E. Park St and Pine Avenue. We also have ADA parking available, look for signs along the streets.

  • Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend the festival?
No, festival admission is free. Bus tours of the caladium fields, decorated neighborhood and Lake Placid area can be purchased in advance for $12.00 or $15.00 the day of the event. See link for bus tour tickets.
  • What should I bring?
Your family and friends, sunscreen and an umbrella just in case Florida afternoon showers occur. Most vendors accept major credit cards and there are ATMs available within walking distance of Stuart Park.
  • Is the event ADA accessible?
We have ADA accessible restroom facilities and ADA street & parking lots are available.
  • Can I bring my pet?
It is not recommended that you bring your pet to the festival. The pavement can get in excess of 140 degrees which can cause damage to your pets' paws.
  • Will the event cancel if it rains?
Living in Florida we recognize the weather can change at a moment’s notice, we hope you will wait out a rain shower. Be prepared for extreme heat, wind and rain. All efforts are made to ensure that the show will go on as long as it is safe for our guests and vendors. IF the weather is dangerous, we will shut down the event during the danger and will reopen when it passes.
  • Can I take photos or record video at the festival?
Yes, photography and videography is allowed and we would love you to share your great images with us on our social media channels.
